The Digital Resource Centre at the Universal Basic Education Commission in Kado-Kuchi, Abuja is our destination for this year’s African Edutech Conference. Asides the main conference hall, it has four separate training rooms. These training rooms can comfortably accommodate up to 30 people, making it an ideal spaces for panel sessions and exhibitions.
There is also a mini-conference hall, where 80 to 90 participants of the conference can gather to interact. More importantly, it has audio-visual equipments and flexible seating arrangements.
Adjacent to the conference hall is the Blended Learning Lab, designed to accommodate up to 20 learners at a time. This dynamic space is equipped with computers and high-speed internet access – facilitating personalized and interactive learning experiences as we continue on our journey towards building an effective African Edtech ecosystem.
Another highpoint of the venue is the Robotics Lab, a hub of creativity and exploration – with space for 15 participants, providing hands-on experience with robotics kits and programming tools, inspiring curiosity and innovation among students and enthusiasts alike.
Lastly, we come to the Teacher’s Lounge, a welcoming retreat for educators to relax, recharge, and connect during the conference. The venue of the 2024 African Edutech Conference has been carefully selected to enhance formal and informal discussions, networking, and professional development activities.Â
